DAMASCUS, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Syrian state TV said Thursday that Israel is trying to target Syria's air defenses and radar as part of an ongoing missile attack.

The Syrian air defenses responded to the Israeli missiles, but some of the missiles hit their target and destroyed one radar station, official media said.

Citing a military source, state TV said dozens of Israeli missiles were destroyed.
